Pop Quiz: Who pays the real estate commission in Colorado?

Ask this on the street, and your average home buyer will say “the Seller.”    And while commissions are deducted from the Seller’s proceeds at closing, it’s all the Buyer’s money, and every Seller considers the commissions they’ll owe when deciding what price to accept for their home!   So I ask you:   who do you think “pays” the real estate commission?
